As the Founder and Head Grower of RX Alternative Group, Sky Romero has been dedicated to the cannabis industry for over two decades. With a farm nestled in the pristine mountains of Mendocino, California (Emerald Triangle), Sky and his team have been cultivating some of the finest grade cannabis in the world.
Sky’s journey in legal cannabis cultivation began in 2002, operating under California’s PROP-214 for medical cannabis cultivation. In those early days (pre legalization), Sky and his team grew cannabis plants in hidden locations, tucked away in the hills, under trees, and in the shadows. With the legalization of cannabis, Sky’s vision for RX Alternative Group took shape, and the farm has since become an award-winning operation with 11 acres of cannabis cultivation space, including 3895 square feet of indoor grow space. From the strict breeding program to genetic preservation, the RX Alternative Group team has the environment and what’s best for the cannabis industry in mind.
